BITC and Camera Original material

I have a question about BITC and Vegas. I need to be able to take camera original material and put BITC data onto it so I can send to clients to isolate pertinent things in interview material. Unfortunately no matter how hard I have tried. the timecode displayed on the render is the master timeline timecode. Does anybody have a way of having the BITC display read the camera original timecode?

BITC? Do you mean VITC or SMPTE time code? Pretty sure Vegas cant read the former. If it's the latter, then you need to apply the Timecode FX to your media using the Add Timecode to all Media script. Some users will say that you need to apply the timecode FX to the media while it's in your Project Media and then add it to the timeline but I've always done it the way I suggested and it's always worked.

He means Burned In Time Code (visible time code). Add the time code to the media in the Project Media Bin.

es Donald is correct, the Camera OriginalTime Code, but visibly superimposed onto a low res copy so the client can give me exact position data.  And usually SMPTE is what is written by cameras, although I do have a Time Code reader/generator system here which would aso read information in the vertical interval. I used to use that to insert information into one of the lines of information and could use it to see if a shot had been lifted off a master and edited into another program.
