Hi All,
I just got Vegas and this is my first couple of attempts at video production. I was able to render my HD footage pretty well, but I'm having a small problem with my standard DV footage.
1. I captured my clips and it generated a 280MB .avi file for one of the clips.
2. I wanted to shrink this down and render as a .wmv file.
3. In the rendering dialogs I have the following setup.
Type: Window Media V9 (*.wmv).
Template: Custom Template
Video: Quality VBR
Width: 720x480
Video Rendering Quality: Best
Mode: Quality VBR
Format: Windows Media Video 9 Advanced Profile
Pixel aspect ratio: tried both 1.00 and 1.333
Frame Rate: 29.970 (NTSC)
Seconds per keyframe: 3
Quality: 100%
The rendering I get has a black border around ALL sides of the output image. I've tried various settings, but I can't seem to make it go away. The best I've been able to do is get the two side bars removed, but then the video is streched wierd. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance!
