black frame and render crashes...

have a 50min time line made up of pre-rendered segement - all are fine individually, but when on the time line i am getting the odd black frame within a pre rendered segment - not in the original rendered segment, and on trying to render am getting a cosistent crash:

anyone any ideas?

btw. no stills, and one generated title. the crash occurs at the same spot an an already rendered segment. yes, am about to swap it out and go for another render of the offending segment. however, the black frames are a worry....

OK, rerender offending section and now playing ok. however, printing to tape is proving a nightmare with glitches every 5 minutes or so. (yea, tape will be out for archiving as soon as either bray or dh dvd, etc., meanwhile, file plays happily in everything, but NOT print to tap?

Have you ever tried this program?
I've used it a few times, make sure to use this program only on TS transport stream files.
It fixes and makes a copy of a TS file (.m2t) along with a log file. Works pretty good.

i think my original problem was in the 1st render i did, albeit disc, power, gremlin corruption. as i wrote it sorted itself out on a rerender.

the black frame however didn't. it's not on the original footage, appeared on the first render, gone on the second...

can vegas have an off day?
