Black frames

Guys,
I'm working on a wedding project and am wondering why there is once in a great while a black frame that shows up.

Heres the weird part.

If I undock the preview and resize it the black frame will then show a video frame. I tried rendering to a player and found that the black frame did not show up but there was a "hiccup" in the video.

Can anyone touch on this?

This has been discussed extensively on the forum. Do a search for "black frame" and it will turn up about 300 posts. Is your black frame issue on DV or HDV footage?

its in SD. Thanks for the search tip. I'm not terribly concerned. Out of the hour long service it only did it once.

I can do a bit of work to lose it but it would be nice to understand it and know if it is avoidable.

I will look up black frame, thanks again.
