Black frames in timeline

I've used DVD Architect (version 7 build 100) to burn several DVD's and Blu Ray discs. However, recently I've had an issue whereby when I import my video media into DVD Architect, the video frames are showing as black frames. When I play it back from the time line, the playback is black. I am using Adobe Premiere Pro for Windows and Adobe Media Encoder to produce the video. The video is using the default H.264 codec. I was able to successfully burn a DVD disc about a week ago. Ever since then, this issue has been happening. I've tried it on different Windows 10 computers, but the same result. Has anyone else had this issue? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Are you using H264 to create a DVD? You should be exporting an MPEG DVD compliant file from Adobe Media Encoder. DVDA, although it can, should not be used as an encoder.

Hi DougT. Thanks for the follow-up. I'm not using DVDA as an encoder. The video is encoded using Premier Pro with the H.264 codec. However, I did take your advice and encoded the video for MPEG DVD within Premier Pro, and that seems to have corrected the issue. Of course I'm going to run a lot more tests, but initially it looks good. Thank you for the suggestion. Much appreciated.
