Black Lines on video editing preview and when rendering

Im getting black lines on the screen line every so often and is shows up in the preview box and as well as after rendering video it shows up as well does anybody have any idea on how to fix this my clients are not happy

Are you referring to the vertical black bars? Do you have Overlays activated?

no overlays are activated but it also shows the lines on the rendered video as well
