Black Scroll Bar - It's back...

I just opened up V6b and found that the horizontal scroll bar has turned black - again. It was this way when I first installed Vegas, but then, after I updated my drivers, it was fixed. Now it's back. I haven't changed the config in any way.
Any clues as to what happened and how I can fix this? I have a client coming in in 3 hours and would like a pretty interface to show them.

Comes and goes for me. Sometimes back, sometimes there. Don't really notice what causes its, only after the fact have I noticed it.

Very strange, eh?
Vegas actually crashed on me (also strange). I usually keep my XP system on "Classic." After the crash (complete computer lock)(not blaming Vegas, I had Boris Red, Corel Draw 10 and Sound Forge open all at the same time), when I rebooted, it took be back to the other XP interface (not Classic) and - poof - the scroll bar came back.
