Is there a way to force a frame of video to show for the thumbnail on a file that has been rendered in Vegas and saved as a mpg file. On some industry footage I edit, I have the typical opening where the video fades from black to the beginning shot and on with the video. However since I'm fading from nothing to the opening there is no visible first frame to represent the mpg file when viewing it on a computer in explorer.

I tried putting just one visible frame at the very beginning and then starting the fade, but when playing the video, you do see the flash of that one frame.

If I remember I can get around this by choosing the frame or even moving video in DVD Architect, but in this particular case I don't want to produce a dvd. A visual reference with a thumbnail is preferable.
