Blank Screen When Uploading Videos

I have Sony Vegas Movie Maker Platinum 11 and whenever I upload a video half of it plays and then half of it doesn't play and when I play it in Windows Player it all plays fine, how do I stop this from happening?

By telling us what kind of video you're talking about. Post the text view results from MediaInfo (a free download).
