Blending 2 videos

Good day.

Can someone tell me how to move myself in front of this portal. Clip 1 is of me walking, Clip 2 is a Green screen of the portal. Clip 2 is the top track. I tried moving clip 1 above the portal and tried using different blend modes but it really doesnt work. When I use the screen mode the portal is very light and barely visible. Any suggestions?

If you are shot over the outside background instead of a greenscreen, then the only way to do what you want is to rotoscope it. You would need to draw a moving mask that isolates you from the background. Not easy to do in Vegas.
