blocky text?

I'm having a problem with text inside a project. It looks fine in my preview window...but when I export an avi, the text appears blocky. Any ideas?

I'm exporting avi dv ntsc, best video quality...somehow the text doesn't maintain its sharpness. The rest of the video or pictures look fine.

I've done many vegas projects and never had an issue...so what have I set wrong? Thank you!

the text doesn't look blocky to me... looks like a feather/blur has been applied though. looks nice.

you're right...that sample looks soft. Another sample that had red text started to look horrible...and after reading a bit about color compatibility I've started to get it to look better. It still doesn't look as sharp as other projects that I've done and I can't put my finger on why.

I too had experienced some problems with titles in AVI renderings until I read this article called: "Great Titles with the DV Codec".
