Blu-Ray Disc Menu Buttons Problem

I have tried burning my movie with a menu on DVDs and they work flawlessly. But when I burn the project on the proper settings via Blu-Ray Disc it loads fine but for some reason the menu buttons don't work. Nothing get's highlighted so I can't select Play Movie or Chapter Selection. In the preview window it does work though. Not entirely sure what I can test to figure this out.

I'm fairly new to this so bear with me.

No, all I have is an xbox one x. Like I said the DVD version works so I don't think it has to do with the xbox?

DVDs and Blu-ray are very different. I've never come across your problem playing my Blu-ray discs on Panasonic and Sony Blu-ray players. I'm not familiar with xbox but to determine whether that is the problem you need to find someone with a normal Blu-ray player to test your disc on.

I was able to test the blu-ray on my friend's PS4 and it works perfectly fine. Apparently xbox has been very unreliable with blu rays with an update they posted about a year ago that they never fixed

@SpaceBuddy17 Thanks for reporting back. The xbox situation doesn't help you but at least we now know why.
