Blu-ray not playing right.

I am making a bluray home video and when I burn it to disk the only thing that plays is the opening video(credits) that I made with Movie Studio. The main menu going to my home videos don't open and the disk ends after playing the opening video.

I have tried this on my computer as well as two different blu-ray players in my home and it does the same thing when I play them. According to my computer when I look at the disk space the whole DVD Project is on there.

I am using Verbatim BD-R DL disks and my Blu-ray burner is an LG.

Did you check the Destination point of your opening credits?

I think I have because when I preview the disk the opening credits play then when they are finished it goes to the main menu where the home movies are. Is there something I can check to make sure it is right?

Hello Joel:

Maybe you've done this already, but when you preview the disks, can you click the "Play All" button or any chapter buttons, etc., and actually play the movie from start to finish? In the Preview mode, you should be able to play every piece of your DVD or BD just as if you were playing from a real disk in an external player. If you cannot, that's an indication the problem is in your project.

Assuming your project is okay, can you burn a DVD and see if that plays correctly in a DVD player? I realize you want a BD but DVDs are a lot cheaper to experiment with than BDs.

Not sure if these ideas will help but thought I would offer them up.

Thank you musicvid and Kim,

When I hit the play all and preview disc it all seemed to work right. Then on the right hand side where the project links are it seemed set-up as well.

So I did a little more tinkering and reset my direction link after the first intro movie and gave it a shot and sure as hell it worked. I don't know why it didn't the first couple times but not going to complain now.

Yeah DVD are ALOT cheaper thats for sure but I have made quite a few and never had this problem happen before so your guess is as good as mine.

Thanks again for the help/input, greatly appreciated !
