Blu-Ray render setting for 1080p AVCHD source?

Greetings!

Just wondering if someone could point me to the best render settings for 1920x 1080 60p AVCHD source to Blu-Ray disc.

I have used the MSP12 24p 1920x1080 "Make Movie" settings (Main Concept MPEG 2) and render to an ISO file that I burned with Image Burn software. Easy-peasy. Worked fine, except that motion is bit, um, off.

I attempted a 60i burn (using "Render As") but I had interlace artifacts. If I change the settings to 60p, I get the "Error Occurred.....Reason Could Not Be Determined" Error...

My question is what settings should I use to preserve good motion images and Image Quality and get a 60p output?

Thanks, gang!

Bluray does not support 1080p, if you render to the bluray 1080i template, it should look fine on your TV.

Thanks, Dave...

So, I won't see the rather obvious interlace artifacts that I see on my monitors when it is rendering the iso file? In other words, the BR player/tv will handle this properly?

.. Edit: Worked like a charm!

Much obliged!
