Blue Screen Of Death

Is it just my studio or are many of your computers having a Blue Screen Of Death Appear every once in awhile.

All three editing bays which have Vegas at my studio are randomly getting the Blue Screen and restarting... It says something about a RAM DUMP error... The Funny thing is that I never had this problem till 8.0c or 8.1

Yes two of my computers run 64bit windows, but that doesn't explain the third which is 32 bit.

Any ideas?

I don't think it would be vista 64. I have it and have NEVER received the BSD in vegas or any other program for that matter. What else do you have in common with these machines?
What material are you rendering? When does this happen? What machines are you running? What extra hardware (if any) do you have connected?

I will say that the "normal" crash (if there is such a thing) or at least the type that is most common is one of those where vegas just disappears off the screen.

At any rate, more info would be helpful.

Yes. When it comes to restarting after a BSOD, you can turn this on/off in Windows.

For the BSOD itself, I had it all the time after upgrading from dual core to quad core. I finally found the culprit, I adjusted the RAM voltage. My ASUS mobo comes with a piece of software that lets me do just this. I adjusted the RAM voltage from 1.8V to 2.0V, and like a miracle, all BSODs vanished forever.
