blue snowball USB mic - cannot hear audio while re

Hi,

I've been doing some voice-overs with a blue snowball USB mic. Set up as a classic wave audio device - it works great.
However, I cannot hear the audio track as I record it (I can hear the rest of the tracks ) ? Does anyone know how to resolve this ?

You have Options|Preferences|Audio Device|Advanced|Enable input monitoring checked, right?

Hi,
I tried turning on the Input monitoring but still cannot hear what I'm recording.
In the Advanced Audio Configuration Page where I turned on the input montoring. , The output: Realtek HD rear audio is the only output available.
I actually plug my headphones into my BOSE powered speakers connected to the PC's audio out. So I'm not sure what to try next ?

It is unlikely that you will be able to use the Snowball directly in an input monitoring mode with Wave driver mode in Vegas.

You should try using ASIO4ALL drivers. This driver may permit you to combine your Snowball input with the output of your other device allowing you to input monitor. However, you should expect relatively higher latencies compared to using ASIO.
