I'm trying to get VP17 to play audio through a Bluetooth Speaker connected to my pc. Windows plays through it perfectly, but Vegas doesn't. The Audio Device tab in preferences has no reference to Bluetooth at all. Is there a way to do this?
Hmm. I don't know how to do this but suspect you don't look for a bluetooth speaker pe se. You would look for the subsystem that Windows is using...basically try all the choices you're given until one works. Having said that, you should be aware that if you get it to work you'll have hellish issues syncing your audio to your video.
I've seen reports from users that cannot play videos at all with audio syncing correctly. Something to do with the latency of the bluetooth standard which is meant purely for an audio perspective, not audio/visual.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Major delay in bluetooth speakers and headphones. If you just want to hear it fine, but as Ralf said, do not use for syncing.
Bluetooth has an inherent delay (latency). Even the Bluetooth Tx and Rx I had, which allegedly were low latency for watching TV, still had a 150ms delay.. which is approx five frames for you video folks.. or 1/8 sec for 'normal' folks.
