I just never saw the appeal of Bluff Titler before. I remember when I downloaded the demo, I just hated the interface as it seemed very clunky to me. Not to mention that the titling looks about as well as Pinnacle Studio type junk. I not even positive that people still use those types of titles these days on the professional level.

But since they are making improvements I'll give it another try I suppose. The only new thing that looks interesting is perhaps the shadows and the xml dynamic text thingie.

I agree with PMasters. That kind of text, whether it's Bluff or Ulead or whoever, looks dated. The trend today is crisp, simple text. It's not bevels, woodgrains, or fonts that look like a Chia pet.

It's like when you see a website that still uses animated gifs. No thanks.

The program certainly has a lot of effects I cannot imagine using, but that doesn't mean it is completely useless. I'm not doing anything professional with it, but I have had a good bit of fun with some personal projects.
