BluRay

I have several shorts that will be shown in a theatre, but there's no budget from client to transfer to DCP.
I presented a stick with Mp4 files and they say they can't play from that.
So I burned a DVD, and wow, what a giant step backward. A quality hit as the original files are HD.
So,---as a compromise I am burning a BluRay disc. AT least I hope to.
Authoring is the same as for a DVD in DVD-A, but what is it I render out to?

Thanks.

Dan

You render out the audio and video to separate files from Vegas using the Blu-ray template that best matches your source material.

Then load your files into DVDA using the Blu-ray setting.

Simpler than I imagined.
Tested it in a Christie projector this afternoon at the theatre and I was blown away by the image quality of the 720p footage rendered out and burned to Blu Ray.
Never thought my stuff could looks to cinematic or that good on the big screen.
Hey now Pete,...thanks.
