BluRay 1920x1080 down to 1280x720

I decided to do some mild cropping in my Vegas Pro 10 timeline to my 1920x1080 footage. I'm thinking I should now make the BluRay 1280x720? Is this correct? If so do I render 1280x720 in Vegas or wait and make that setting in Architect Pro 5.2?

Correct, Project in VP10 on 1280x720 and render to DVDA template 1280x720
