Blurring the Edges of a Pan/Crop

Stuart Robinson wrote on 10/8/2007, 7:17 PM
I'm having a mental block; can someone please remind me how to soften/blur the edges of a pan/crop event? It's just the edges I need to blur, akin to the variables one can apply to a transition.

Pointers - to kick-start my brain - would be appreciated! :-)

Could always use the cookie cutter FX with a feather...

The easiest way I can think of would be to use the mask option under the event-pan-crop, and turn on the feather option. Just draw the mask as a rectangle around the edges of the clip.
