Blurry clip after playback rate changed...hep me, hep me please!

I've never had this problem befiore so I'm sure it's user error but: starting with a sharply focussed clip (panning) and applying a velocity envelope or changing playback rate in properties, the clip loses it's sharp focus (especially if I select "reduce interlace flicker"). Any ideas?

Try Disable Resample as well. If you're slowing the clip down then Vegas will interpolate new frames by fading between existing frames. This can lead to a doubled or blurry image.

Thanks Kelly, This is a TV ad for a new client and it's due tomorrow, so it's important to me to get this resolved quickly ( and this problem has never happened before).

Good call...it brought back the sharpness but now I get jitter (after prerendering) about every 1/2 second whether I select a faster playback rate (only 1.1) in properties or use a velocity envelope. Do you think PTP would clear this up?
