BM Intensity Pro issue with Pro 11

Hello

I was wondering if anyone else using BM Intensity Pro with Vegas Pro 11 is/had the following issue.
I am unable to view 1920x1080 50i (Pal) on my monitor it is just blank. I have set the BM properties to 1920x1080 50i and in the Vegas properties match source which is 1920x1080 50i which is what the video is recorded in (AVCHD), I have also checked that the other BM properties are set to output to HDMI and others are set to off. ie HD to SD letter box etc, so all is correct, but nothing shows on the monitor. The monitor is full HD 1920x1080. I have tried another full HD monitor swapped HDMI leads but still no difference. So when I change the Vegas source properties to (Pal) 720x576 and leave the BM properties at 1920x1080 50i I can view on the monitor the footage but it is at 720x576. I have even swapped the BM to 720x576 and Vegas properties to 1920x1080 and again I can view only 720x576 on the monitor. I have also tried/changed the settings in preview to windows graphic card (I have a Nvidia GTX570 with the latest drivers) and used one of my 2 working monitors to view the footage in 1920x1080 and it is perfect.

Any ideas what is wrong or could it be a faulty BM Intensity Pro. I have only just got it.

You help and advice is most appreciated.

One thing comes to mind. Are you using the actual template in the video properties of Vegas or creating a custom one?

I recently tried to view 1080p footage using my Blackmagic intensity in Vegas 10. There is no template in the video properties of Vegas 10 for 1080p so I had to make the changes manually. When I did this I could not get a feed to my monitor.

I was also going to suggest checking that you are using the HDMI output and not the input of the BMI but it sounds like you are since you are getting an SD feed.

Hi Marc

There is a template for 1920 x1080 i50 in Pro 11 so yes I am using that... so no go

Have you tried testing the component video output?

Can't try component as my monitors only have HDMI or DVI.....might have to borrow one
