On their website Artel Soft says it's compatible, but only in 32bit: BORIS Host Compatibility Matrix

I use Boris RED with Vegas Pro 9.0 32-bit and it works fine. I assume Boris FX will too. You just can't use the 64-bit version of Vegas which is still true for a number of plug-ins.

I am using RED and FX in SV 09e 32-bit

I have edited on someone else’s 64 bit machine that had Vegas 09e and BFX 9.3 and Red 4.3 plug no problem?? You have to copy the FX dll from 07 or 08 and past it in Sony Vegas 09 plug folder

The one you will have to use as a stand alone is Boris Blue, the dll is going to be available soon…apparently

I had Vegas 8c installed with Boris Red 4 (4.3.3.1502), all working OK. Later I installed Vegas 9e (32 bit). That particular system (not a MBP) has XP (32-bit).

Boris Red still shows up as a Video FX in Vegas 8c but not in the subsequently-installed Vegas 9e.

Anyone know the fix? Reinstall Boris? Maybe it has to register separately with already-installed versions of Vegas?

David copy the dll from 08 to 09 Sony Plugin folder so install to 07 or 08

The latest Boris 4. Update auto installs to 09e

Thanks Rory, copying the DLLs fixed it.
