According to Host Application List, the answer may be no. It does sound like a more powerful app than After Effects.

Hi,
I also saw that on host application.. The reason I ask is that I seem to remember reading one or two post where people used Boris...but I don't know which version!
Thanks for the reply :)

I don't have a need for BR yet and at $1500 USD, it's a bit high priced for me. I would say that if you are really have a need for it and all you are worried about is whether it works with VV or not then get it. It works stand alone and if it does work with VV, then that's only a plus!

yup GG uses Boris Red and says it works well with Vegas. it doesn't plug in directly, you use it in standalone mode. you can still bring video back and forth between Vegas and Red, but you need to render.

GG,
Doesn't work with Type 1 & 2?
Why is that?
Does it accept renders using the huffyuv codec?

thanks
