BORIS red in vegas

is there a way to make boris red process/function more efficiently within vegas? Example: I'm using the chroma keyer/matt filters and when I change any of the parameteres, I see the hour glass showing that the computer is processing away. Within Vegas's Chroma keyer, I can alter, adjust and tweak over and over and not see any sign of slugish delay. What can I do to make Boris work more efficiently?
Thanks......

Where do you see the hour glass; in Vegas or RED?

I added a clip in Vegas then dropped the "Boris Red 4" effect on it from the Vegas Video FX tab. I then entered RED from within Vegas and added a Chroma Key filter as well as a Matte Choker. I clicked "update" and went back to Vegas. I went back and forth several times and changed parameters in RED but never saw the delay you speak of.

In your Vegas Preferences, Video tab, have you set the Dynamic RAM Preview to zero? If not, you should. Also, how much RAM does your system have?

My experience is the same as Peter's. Boris RED works fine just like any other plug-in. No hour glass or waiting. Something is up with your PC configuration.
