Asking for serial numbers in this forum is a mild offense. We just refer you to Customer Service.
Typing in all capital letters is much worse, because that is a disease we can not help you with. We do not have capital punishment.

If you legitmately purchased your software via download, you should have email from Sony. If you registered your software, your serial numbers can be found by clicking the account button above.

SONY doesn't track Boris serial numbers in the My Software section. However, those serial numbers were included in the same email that contained the Vegas serial numbers. Look through the email you received from SONY after purchasing Vegas to find them.

and if you didn't get the SN's for some reason e-mail support & they'll give them to you. I gor the V6 upgrade in the mail & only 1 borris SN. After a few days I realized I needed both (hey, the one worked in both apps!), e-mailed & got a new one a day or two later.

Thanks for your very helpful comment. I don't know why Sony Media Software doesn't include all the serials registered to you. In cases where your hard drive crashes and you did not back up the emails, it becomes difficult to get up and running without all the serial numbers.

You also should register with Boris for that support.

that's why they says you should print out the e-mails & put the printout in a safe place.

The other thing i do after getting a new version is to save the emails containing the serial numbers as text files in the same directory as the download files, then burn them all to a CD for safe keeping.
TheHappyFriar wrote on 1/14/2006, 6:08 AM
I do that & write them in the manual. Although copy/paste from a text is much easier. :)
