Boris stabilizer and the tracker

Anyone able to say if the stand-alone motion stabilizer that ships with Vegas 6+DVDA3 (which I have) can be set/manipulated/hijacked to function as a motion tracker? I have a 5-second sequence where a nifty WWII German vehicle crosses in front of my DP with a steadicam harness--as it moves around a corner and past a distant, white 1996 Chevy parked there only minutes earlier by a crew member who 'moved it out of the way'.... I.e., the car zips past in the background, opposite to the motion of the Kubalwagon.

Yeah, I know. Can't reshoot it and I wasn't trotting along behind the DP (as I should have been) looking through his LCD monitor. I know there's ways to recolor or obscure the car with keyframes and bezier curves, just wondering if there's something in the Boris plugin that could do the task.

I doubt very much that this stabilizer can be used for what you want to do.

AE could do it OK, and Combustion could do it better (it has a better tracker).

Otherwise you may be creating a lot of bezier keyframes in Vegas.

The funniest booboo I saw was in a cowboy movie where there was a lake in the background. If you looked carefully, you could see a waterskier zipping across the lake... :O)
