It's a permanent license! Works in Sony Vegas 13 and Magix V14 and V15.
You download the OFX version...this wasn't clear to me, but their support forum clued me in.
I've tinkered with the re-orient filter, but can't find VR Insert which is be used for picture-in-picture affects. Hopefully they'll straighten that out soon.
It may un-install previous Boris plug-ins, so be careful during the install.
Yes it's a bundle of 5 FX for editing 360 footage, both 2D and 3D.
VR Reorient lets you rotate the image in any direction, as needed. VR Insert lets you do picture-in-picture, and helps title placement. VR Blur, and VR sharpen allow you to blur or sharpen the image without creating artifacts at the "edges" of the image, so you don't end up with lines where the image folds back on itself. VR flicker corrects for flicker due to the interaction of the camera refresh rate and flicker of LED, and other, lights.
I've been using Molanis VR to do reorientation, so am glad to have this in Vegas itself. Applying VR insert to a title created by Vegas yields a "flat" title---without it titles tend to curve as you move the VR image around. These are the only two filters I've tinkered with, so far.
I'm uploading a video to YT now where I did a couple of picture-in-pictures and titles using VR Insert. I used a proxy workflow and was pleased to find the VR FX worked fine with that.
