Hi,
Please help if you have any suggestions I really appreciate it.
I can't get the software to play my acoustic track while recording the vocal track. I have the Simultaneous Play & Record option set. Still no replay of the digital audio tracks while recording another track.

I ve spent three days on this and am ready to move on to a less stressful life if I can't get it to operate.

It's kind of simple to do. With your acoustic track on the time line, go to insert and then Audio track (or Ctrl-q) then you will get a blank track to record your music on. Select the blank track and select the record option on that track. Then when you are finally ready to record, then hit record on the control bar found at the bottom of the timelines. This is what I do!

Well I've been doing exactly that. But the acoustic tracks cease to playback while recording the vocal. I'm beginning to believe that perhaps my sound card in my Compaq Presario 4880 (circa 1999)is not capable of full duplexing(playing and recording at the same time).
