Brand new to VV4 few questions

I have read the help files but still am not able to apply any transitions. It says I should just press shift and drag the transitions I want. It's not working, so what should I do?

One more question:
When using the vector scope tool, should you adjust your video so all your colors are within the color marks on the scope? I guess I'm not fully understanding the appropriate use for the vector scope...?

As for your 1st question, your video files must overlap. Once that's done, one way to add transitions is to click the "transition" tab on the bottom of your window, select a transition and click-hold-drag it to the overlapping video and drop it in there. That should do it.

Hi Adam,

You're on the right track with the vectorscope, if your saturation gets outside the big circle, it will be out of compliance. You could use a number of Vegas FX to correct the issue.
