Brightness and Contrast

I do a lot of photo compilation videos and I use a TV as an external monitor since most of the things I do are only played on regular TVs It seems like almost all the pictures in my projects need brightness and contrast adjustment to look good on a tv. Is there blanket command I can use to put the brightness and contrast fx on all pictures to save some time.? Or is there a setting to correct color for tv viewing or something of the sort? I am just looking to save some time, and I thank anyone ahead of time for your input.

Yes. Use the FX command in the preview window. But don't do it with the Brightness and Contrast FX, use something more controllable like Curves

Different ways of doing things:

1- You can use the levels filter, "computer RGB to studio RGB" preset on your images. Still images are computer RGB color space, and you want to get them into studio RGB for TV playback (at least with Vegas).

To apply FX to a lot of clips:
2- Apply the FX at the trackFX level.

3- If you have one preset that you want to apply to a lot of clips:
Select the clips you want the effect on.
In the effects tab, drag the preset onto the selected clips.

4- Right click a clip, select copy.
Select other clips.
Right click them, "paste attributes". IMPORTANT: This will paste *everything*, including pan/crop information!!
