Use the filter as a video output effect, use "clamp" preset. Expect loger render times as every frame needs to get re-compressesed. Not a problem in VV3 with the new codec.

If you know that only one scene is hot, you can apply the filter to just that event (or to that event's media file).

Thanks!

Earlier, I asked about the best way to pump up dark video to broadcast standard levels. It was suggested that I use the Levels filter, which makes sense. Now, I need to know how to determine how much to apply to get the levels B-cast safe. There doesn't seem to be an "everything will come out fine" preset. Suggestions?

Thanks!

You can make the Broadcast colors filter invert out of range colors - this makes problem areas easy to spot. Histogram is also a good way to hunt for offending sections.
