I just tried this and can't repro. Can you answer some questions for me please?
1) Do you have auto preview on? If so, does the same thing happen if you turn it off?
2) Now with Auto Preview on....If you just click one of the jpg files, does it show up in the preview window?
3) If it doesn't, does the preview window say "Generating Preview..." before it shuts down? (might be hard to see)
4) Try dragging the jpg from windows explorer to DVDA instead of using the internal browser. Does that work?

I want to try to determine if it's the file that's not being read properly (most likely), or if it's some user interface bug with the media explorer. Does the same thing happen in Vegas?

Thanks

No

Yes (either way... same thing)

2) Now with Auto Preview on....If you just click one of the jpg files, does it show up in the preview window?
Yes ... until I try and scroll the window

3) If it doesn't, does the preview window say "Generating Preview..." before it shuts down? (might be hard to see)
No

4) Try dragging the jpg from windows explorer to DVDA instead of using the internal browser. Does that work?
Yes

This same folder does not cause any problems in Photoshp or in any other prog. Just V4 and DVDA.

well I just tried V3 and ... same thing except I got this :

OK. I've fooled around with this over the weekend. Here is what I found... if I use the scroll wheel on the mouse - NO problem. But if I click on the 'thumber' (in the window) to scroll the window ... poof. A clue ?
