Bug Found: No External Monitor choices

Vegas 8.0b, installed clean on a clean system. Video preview device tab has no choices, no windows secondary display, no OHCI DV device.

My ADVC-300 shows up fine in both DVDA 4.5 and Sound Forge 9.0. I looked to see if perhaps the driver was left out as it was in the first release of DVDA 4.5 and I found something that appears to be it: Sony.MediaSoftware.ExternalVideoDevice.dll in the vegas directory, so it looks like it's installed. At least it's sitting there.
--------------
Update: Installed Vegas 8.0a on my test partition (I triple boot this machine). A whole new directory of drivers appeared including one called AVCdevices.dll. There are also other drivers including the AJA one. All of the choices for preview devices are working now. Crossing my fingers that if I copy this directory to my main partition that it won't crash Vegas 8.0b when it runs.

Seems to have the same installer bug as DVDA did, not installing a directory called Video Hardware Drivers.

Seems to be fixed by copying the drivers from the 8.0a install on the other partition.

Doesn't appear to work right. When using external monitoring, randomly vegas will hang and stop responding.

Sony, do I need to uninstall, then install 8.0a and then 8.0b over it? That is, does 8.0b update these drivers if they're already installed?
