I have found a bug that occurs when I attempt to render ac3 using a script. I kept thinking it was just something unique to my machine. But I got a completely new machine and installed from scratch. The problem is still there.
In the script, I render several vegs to mpg2, then reload each veg and render to ac3. When I run the script, all the vegs get rendered to mpg2. Then it reloads every project one by one as expected, but does not render the ac3's, but no error msgs.
Now the wierd part... if I MANUALLY render one veg to ac3 then rerun the script, it renders all the ac3's.
It appears that scripting engine doesn't correctly load the ac3 renderer and therefore all ac3 renders fail (w/o any error msg...). But if I manually load the renderer, the scripting engine doesn't have to reload it.
This is very repetitive. If tech support wants the script, I'll be glad to forward it along.
This is on V5b, but it's been doing this since the orig V5 (possibly V4, but I didn't start using ac3 until I got DVDA 2).
