BUG: Mousewheel zoom causes thumbnails to reload on timeline MS14

I have Vegas Movie Studio 14 Platinum and when I zoom in and out with my mousewheel on the timeline to edit very small details and then zoom out to view the whole video in the timeline, the program then reloads the video on the timeline just like I just added it again (to the timeline, and it reloads thumbnails). Every time I zoom in and out - no matter how much - it reloads the video thumbnails and makes my timeline lag and preview video lag unless I pause after I zoom out or in and let it parse the thumbnails on the timeline; after that it is good. The video is not the issue as it's 640x480 NTSC.

I previously had Vegas movie studio 11 platinum and this was never a problem and I edited the same media type with the preview on best full (and on another monitor) with no issues.

I already enabled my GPU acceleration but couldn't find any options other than that that might help my issue with this new version.

Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

I don't see this, but you're able to change the number of visible thumbnails on your event in Options/Preferences/Video.

Thank you! That solved my problem.

I can do the other options and have no lag at all but the "All" option makes the thumbnails try to reload every time I zoom in any percent with my mouse's wheel. If I am playing while it refreshed the thumbnails, the video gets choppy until all the thumbnails load again.

Is this a bug that it tries to reload them over and over when you zoom?

As I wrote, I have no problems with it. I think it depends on the used hardware.
