Sounds like a video card problem. As always, check your card for the newest drivers and possibly play with it's accelleration settings to see if you can make the problem go away (which would sort of prove it's a video card problem).

Hmmm.. I thought as well. But I tired a pci and an agp matrox g450 and they both do the same.
Still does sound like a video prob. though.
Any other folks with this card see it?
