I downloaded it and installed. I had a project that would crash if I would doubleclick on a timeline or menu. It stopped crashing, so it might have fixed that.

I think it just a forgotten extra anymore. The March newsletter is touting that DoStudio is now available. Complete 2D and 3D Blu-ray Disc Authoring now available through the full line of DoStudio applications via Sony Creative Software.

DVDA may be forgotten by Sony, but I will forget DoStudio. At $3000 or $5000 it is not really an adjunct of Vegas.

Leaves a double entry in windows->control panel->programs. Both versions 133 & 135 are listed. Do not uninstall 133 as it kills v135, which needs to be re installed.

I presumed that as the program was a new build it could be installed straight on top of the earlier 5v2.133 version. The install was OK, my error was uninstalling v133 from the control panel after I had spotted the v135 entry.

If you need to contact Sony to get the install count then reset run as a 30 day trial until you can make contact with Sony.

I installed DVDA 5.2 build 135 over the top of build 133 in win7 64x with no problems. I have a single entry in Control Panel > Programs for DVDA 5.2 build 135. Installation went the same as prior updates. Can you backup to a prior restore point?

Updated yesterday on laptop and noticed the two entries. Having corrected the position on laptop I updated the desktop. Checked entry in control panel programs first. Updated and noted two entries.
Rebooted to see if v133 cleared. It did not. Had a look via regedit to see if I could identify the entry and simply remove it. Searched on 5.2.133. Program files (x86)/sony only showed a single DVDA entry.

In the end I uninstalled both and reinstalled. Since it happened on both machines I presumed it might be a general problem.
To be fair it's not a show stopping problem compared with some of the bugs in VP11

Edit: Restore points available on both machines but unsure of what can be achieved by restoring.
