Building Peaks

Noticed that after importing new avi clip into v6 it builds peaks then after creating the project and saving it doesn't build peaks again when re-opening the project. If I take the same avi clip and insert it into DVD-A3 it will build peaks and after saving as project it will not build peaks again. However, when the project is re-opened in V6 it will rebuild peaks again. Then when re-opened in DVD-A3 it will rebuild peaks again. Also found that if any change is made to the original avi all peaks will build again for the entire clip. Not a big deal but just kind of noticed.

I've seen that moving files back and forth between Vegas 4 and Sound Forge 6 (still running Win98SE at church). Even though both programs use the same .sfk file, either one must rebuild the peaks even if the other one already has. Usually though after both have had their chance at making the .sfk file, they're both happy with the result from there on out.
