One is the full price and one is a special offer for registered users of Vegas.

That's what the e-mail claims, but what spoofed me that none of the links in the lower priced email link to Red Giant software. Sorry, working in the information security has made me into a paranoid freak so better safe than sorry, right?

I just checked my email and saw in my Spam folder is the offer.

The "Special Expires Soon" link takes me to this Red Giant Software page.

The Cost of Video, the Look of Film

Buy Now! $199
(Introductory special price, regularly $299)

It's an intro price, not an upgrade price.

This is just my anti-spam side kicking up, but i wouldn't trust an email from topica.com as far as i could spit a brick. They're major main-sleaze spammers. I wouldn't say that everything from them is a scam, but i wouldn't ever consider buying anything advertised by them either.

I've had all topica domains and mail servers blocked for years so i haven't seen anything from them in my inbox. But, based on the NANAS reports i haven't missed anything worthwhile.
