bunch of text fonts missing upon install to Win7

i don't usually like to beat the door of the forum down with questions but i seem to notice some strange things happening here and there since reinstalling VMS8 from XP to Win7. one thing is that there are a ton of text fonts missing like reservoir grunge and even some of the basic ones i remember back from VMS4 like tall paul. i shouldn't need an update to access these should i?

The fonts are not a part of Vegas.

Vegas just sees and uses the fonts installed in Windows.

So in order to get the "missing" fonts you will have to find them and install them into your new Windows 7.

Yeah, the fonts you had previously may have been installed on your system by a photo editing program, a word processor, greeting card program -- almost any installed program. They may have been installed by some "bundled" program that came with your PC.

I'm not sure which fonts come natively with the various versions of Windows, but I'm pretty sure Vegas itself doesn't install any fonts.

in that case . . . anyone know any trustworthy downloading sites for fonts (or other sources)?
