Buring DVDA files using other DVD burning software.

Can I burn the Audio_TS and Video_TS folders created by DVD-A direct to a DVD-R using another product? I have Veritas Record-Now and I find that has a beter way of burning multiple disks that the burn mode in DVD-A

I guess I could just try this and see... but didn't want to waste a few DVD-R's if this is a silly thing to do.

Thanks

I don't see why not.

I'm not using DVD-A at the momment because I prefer other authoring software, but I do use RecordNow to burn the Video files created by my authoring program.

Just select a Data job in RecordNow
Add the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders (best if they are in capitals)
& burn

RecordNow should recognise that you are attempting to burn a DVD-Video (This is an option in the program settings which is enabled (ticked) by default.)

Absolutely! Sometimes, for whatever reason, when DVDA has problems burning a disk, I just resort to using NERO to use the files created by DVDA in order to burn a disk.

I record with Nero, although sometimes it throws out an error message. I ignore the error, continue, and it burns fine. (This problem is discussed in other threads -- search on "Nero" in this forum).

If you have either Nero v5 or v6 installed, here is a great FREE tool for using the Nero engine to burn DVD video discs. It's called "ImgTool Burn" and it's available here:
