i'm running a quad core PC with 3 Gb RAM and a pioneer DVR-212 DVD writer. i prepare my media files in vegas pro to the recommended specs but during the Make DVD phase it prepares ok, it renders ok, when it gets to 66% (everytime) of the disc procedure and is ready to burn the leadout, it freezes. when i examine the DVD there is a tiny burn on the DVD. i have done all that is suggested (latest firmware upgrade, check the skip DVD database, slow the burn rate etc) but to no avail. the software reconizes the burner including the firmware upgrade. any ideas?

the DVD burner works and i can burn the prepared files on different burning software but i'd much rather use what i have paid for. please help.
