Burn OK. Can't recognize in Drive

Is this problem known? I'm using DVDArchitect 2.0 not 2.0a.
If i update to 2.0a this bug? will be gone?

I lost my money for media. I tried 5 DVD media to burn DVD video with Architect. But It says "successfully completed". My drive can't only play movie but also even recognize DVD.

So I tried to burn with NERO BURNING ROM. It works~. What's the problem?
The media were same. Sony DVD-R 4x.

does anyone know this problem? I'm urgent...plz

I'm using LG Super Multi DVD Recoder GCE-4040B which can burn all kind of DVD media. DVD+R,+RW,-R.,-RW.DVD-RAM,CD etc.

DVD architect cannot support this?

Beats me. I didn't know LG even made DVD burners. Sure like my LG phone, though... <g>

It's not necessarily a case of DVDA not supporting the drive, but it can be picky about what what kind of media you burn on what kind of drive and play in what kind of DVD player. I don't know why, but it seems to me that recordable DVD technology is quite unstable. This instability does seem to show itself in DVDA more than other authoring apps I use, but it's not exclusive to DVDA.

When this happens, though, the first recommended solution is to try a different type of media. If this is happening with DVD-R, try a DVD+R. If it's happening with a DVD+R, try a DVD-R.

I upgraded, and my units (sony 700a and Lite-On 812) will now burn both formats. Previously, boht of the units would burn only "-" discs. Hope this helps!

Thanks for reply anyway.
I burned hundreds of DVDs in my company. In company I got Pioneer A05. It never this happened. But this DVD drive(LG product) is at my home.
This is so strange... I tried 3 different kind of media(Sony, Daiyo Yuden,SKC)
All are DVD-R. and all are same problems.

So I think this is DVD Architect's problem. Maybe can't match with this Drive.

I decided change software. Encore DVD , Ulead DVDworkshop.
May never been fixed this problem.

All are DVD-R. and all are same problems.

Which is why I suggested trying a DVD+R.
