Burned BD compilation play problems?

Using DVDA and created first Blu-Ray compilation (14GB) with multiple menu pages and 36 scenes. When complete would not play on SONY 350 player, but played okay on PC DVD using Power DVD. I'm sure I selected 'plays on most commercial players' before rendering, compiling and encoding to .ISO image. Any ideas?

The media brand does make a difference. Since home-burned DVDs and BluRays work by using a chemical process rather than the data being pressed into the disc (as commercial discs are), the quality of the disc can make a big difference in how well it is recognized by standalone players.

In my book, I very much recommend against cheap brands of discs -- especially Memorex.

Stick with Verbatim discs and burn them at no faster than 4x and you'll definitely increase the odds they'll work in all players.

Thanks for the reply Steve. I did use Memorex brand media. First chance I get I'll pick up some Verbatim media and give it a shot. Thanks again.

Steve - I don't know if you will see this, but I notice you have a book on DVDA 4.5. I have purchased a couple of your other books when I used the ADOBE PSE and PE. Are you coming out with a new release soon for DVDA 5?
