Personally, I'd spend that cash an a panasonic GH4.
amazing and sharp video quality, 4k if wanted, up to 220 mb/s 4:2:2 8bit or 10 bit external, clean image up to 6400 iso, 96p for great slomo etc etc...But that's just my personal opinion...

PXW-X70 has a much better image sensor then XA10 and shoots 4:2:2 as well.

Does the GH4 have XLR inputs? Can you ingest footage from the X70?

The GH4 doesn't have XLR and coupled with a lens can become an expensive package. If you don't need 4:2:2 recording you could opt for a HDR-CX900 with a Beachtek XLR adapter which makes for a very cost effective package. If you shoot 4:2:2 with PXW-X70 in the MXF container then you need to convert the files before you can use them in Vegas; an unfortunate oversight of SCS.
