Burning Blu-Ray to folder

When burning a DVD, I'm able to burn it to a folder (video_ts and audio_ts) to watch it on the computer rather than burning it to an actual disc.

The same process just generates an .iso disc image file for a Blu-Ray instead of the necessary folder structure (BDMV-folder with all it's subfolders) required for any media player to play this Blu-Ray.

Am I just overseeing any settings or is this not possible in DVD Architect?

I don't want to burn an actual disc as this is not an option for me since I have no capable burner to do so.

It will only create an ISO. There are programs that will read an ISO and allow you to play the video. Is there a reason you want it as a Bluray structure rather than just create a video file that will play?

Meantime, it is possible to extract the disc files from an ISO. Just right-click on the ISO file (in Windows 10) and select Open With/Windows Explorer. Once you're inside the ISO, copy the folders and paste them into a new folder on your hard drive.

In addition to Steve Grisetti's solution you can also play the ISO without extracting the files on Windows 10 - right click the ISO file and select Mount - another drive (virtual drive) will appear in Windows Explorer and is playable from there.

To close the iso right click the virtual drive and select Eject.
