If you don't have the latest version of DVDA, download it. If the latest version presents the same problems formally report the issue to Sony. Tell them all the details - the type of burner you are using, the type of media (and who made the media, etc).

You might try different media, but my guess is your only options will be to either get a burner that other people on this forum have reported success with, or get a seperate burning application such as Nero.

then it burns to the dvd cd

Is it a DVD or a CD? Big difference. Video on a CD may not play on your DVD player.

Is it a DVD or a CD?

Couldn't have been a CD. DVDA wouldn't have let him burn the project.

Really? I remember vaguely burning a mini-DVD sometime back, and I didn't have anything else but DVDA 1.0. It's been awhile though, so I might be mis-remembering.

Really?

Yes, really. :)

Try it. You'll get a message that says, "This application does not support burning to CD-R/RW media. Please insert writable DVD media." Both DVDA 1 and DVDA 2.
