Burning Problems

I have seemed to run into a problem.

When I go to burn the DVD under Make DVD, Select Burn, then current project, next No Messages,, but when I get to the screen Select Burn Parameters it is totally grayed out with the only buttons is Back and Cancel.

Can anyone help with this problem.

Under Select Prepare Folder it is listed as: "C:\Documents and Settings\Jeff\Local Settings\Temp\My DVD" which is what I have always used.

What happens if you change the location of the Prepare file?

In fact, what happens in you just try to burn a "prepare" file rather than directly to a disc?

And is there a possibility that your files are too large for a DVD disc and you need to optimize them first?

These are disk that I have already burned and saved on a harddrive.

Theere is a message that pops up that states the folowing.

The slected folder is not valid.

A valid prepared DVD folder must contain Video_TS and Audio_TS folders, and the VIDEO_TS folder must contain the VIDEO_TS.IFO AND VIDEO_TS.BUP.

I have looked at the folders and there are there and the files are there, but still come up with a completely greyed out Slect Prepare Folder.

I had the same problem a few months ago. Could'nt figure out the problem. I ended up deleting everything connected to that file,metadata, vegas vegs,etc. I think what I did wrong was to try burning a dvd in sony pro 8 first and then transferred it to architect.
The file was already entered in one program.
